ABOUT BAPTISM

At Calvary Church, we practice what is called "beliver's Baptism by immersion."  That means, when a person has professed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we wade into the water up to about waist high, and the pastor baptizes the new follower of Jesus into the water by completely immersing the whole body under the water.  This is a symbol of the death and resurrection of our Lord, and also of the new believer's death to sin and being raised to new life in Christ.  Pleasecontact our pastorif you want to discuss faith in Jesus Christ and baptism.
